I am starting a new project dealing with alternative energy – focusing on how we acquire, process, use and deal with energy sources. I want to look at both alternative and traditional sources of energy. For the first set of work I am looking at things around my neighborhood – alternative lifestyles and the oil drilling both nearby and off shore. The images below are from an old refinery near my house, situated next to the Ventura River.
