Jesusita Fire, part II
The Jesusita Fire above Santa Barbara is in its third day. So far 2,700 acres have been destroyed, only 10% of the fire is contained, 75 residences have been destroyed and 13,500 people have been evacuated.

I spent the evening shooting the Jesusita Fire in Santa Barbara, which as of midnight has destroyed over 420 acres and forced over 1000 homes to be evacuated.
Foreign Born
I shot the LA band Foreign Born on Sunday in Echo Park and had some great tacos to boot.

I am in the process of reorganizing my workflow and integrating my archives with my website and blog and found some images I shot for a story on a bullfighter in Tijuana.

I shot actress & writer Alexi Wasser last week. Her blog, imboycrazy.com is a funny and at times deeply personal look at dating, boys and relationships in general. Her vulnerability as a young woman exploring contemporary relationships for the 20-something crowd and her self-depricating humor create an interesting read.

Nite Jewel
Nite Jewel at Footsies in Echo Park.
On Tuesday I shot Nite Jewel, the musical project/alter ego of Ramona Gonzalez, along with her new bandmate, Emily Jane, at their respective homes and favorite haunts in and around the Echo Park section of Los Angeles. It was a blast, and it gave me a chance to find new things to like about LA.
A weekend in the Desert
I spent the weekend back in the desert visiting with friends I haven’t seen since the summer. It was great to see everyone. I made some new friends from Texas. A tremendous windstorm cut the trip short, and the shooting, but it was great to see everyone. I am looking forward to the winter.
